【Job Summary】Seeking an experienced and dynamic Architecture Department Manager to lead and grow our architecture team. As the Architecture Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing architectural design and planning operations within a major Japanese construction-affiliated company. You will guide a team of architects, designers and technical staff to deliver high-quality design solutions for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Leveraging the company’s long-standing reputation for "Sincerity • Willingness • Technology" and high-quality workmanship, you will ensure that our architectural output meets Japanese standards while adapting to the local Vietnamese market and regulatory frameworks. In your role you will collaborate with internal stakeholders (estimation, construction, project management) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. You will also drive continuous improvement, mentor your team for professional growth, and help position the company as a leader in architectural services.【Responsibilities】-Lead and manage the Architecture Department: set vision, goals, resource plans and budgets for the department.-Oversee architectural design projects from concept through to detailed design, approval, and hand-over phases, ensuring compliance with Japanese standards and client requirements.-Coordinate with project management, construction and consulting teams to integrate architectural deliverables into broader project schedules and budgets.-Establish and maintain design standards, procedures and best-practice workflows to ensure high quality, cost-effective and timely delivery.-Monitor project progress, department KPIs (e.g., design lead-time, rework rate, budget adherence, quality metrics) and implement corrective actions as needed.-Mentor, develop and evaluate architecture/design team members: provide guidance, training, performance reviews and career-growth planning.-Participate in client meetings, presentations and technical reviews; represent the Architecture Department in stakeholder forums.-Promote innovation in design, including the adoption of BIM tools, sustainable architecture practices, and constructible design methods.-Work closely with business development and senior management to identify new opportunities for architectural services, support tender preparation and contribute to proposals.-Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (building codes, fire safety, accessibility, environmental regulations) and coordinate submission to authorities.-Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department: process optimisation, knowledge sharing, risk management, and cost-efficiency.Attractive point】-This position supports construction projects in Japan, offering the opportunity to learn authentic Japanese architectural skills in Vietnam
