    【Job Summary】
    We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to take ownership of the backend architecture, development, and operation of our core product.
    You will play a central role in architectural design and technology selection, with a strong focus on scalability and maintainability.
    In addition, we expect you to contribute to improving the overall technical capabilities of the team through mentoring and sharing best practices.

    【Job Details】
    ‐ Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate web applications using Ruby on Rails
    ‐ Lead the development of new features and the improvement of existing ones
    - Perform performance tuning, infrastructure optimization, and address technical debt
    - Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving development workflows and coding standards
    - Build and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient delivery and deployment
    - Design and operate microservices architectures when necessary
    - Design database schemas and optimize SQL query performance
    - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers
    - Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
    - Stay up to date with the latest technologies and share knowledge with the team
    - The other tasks assigned by the Japanese Manager.

  • Yêu cầu

    ＜Must＞
    - More than 3 years of hands-on experience developing web applications with Ruby on Rails
    - Deep understanding of the Ruby language
    ‐ No job hopper(At least 3 years in each company.)
    - Solid knowledge of software design principles such as OOP and DDD
    - Strong experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.), including schema design and SQL performance tuning
    - Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest
    - Proficiency with Git-based development workflows, including pull requests and code reviews
    - Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
    - Understanding of web application security best practices
    - Comfortable working in Linux / Unix environment
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously

    ＜Prefer＞
    - English: Intermediate level
    - Japanese: N2 advanced level
    - Experience operating high-traffic, large-scale web applications in production
    - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code
    - Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript
    - Experience with background job frameworks such as Sidekiq or Shoryuken
    - Experience using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.)
    - Experience with performance monitoring tools such as New Relic or Datadog
    - Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
