    <Job Summary>
    You will be in charge of the Chief Accountant in the Japanese Automotive shop, Suzuki.

    <Detail>
    1. Manage and operate the Accounting Department:
    a) Assign and supervise tasks; guide and monitor accounting staff in areas such as Assets, Materials, Receivables/Payables, Inventory, Costing, Payments – Expenses, etc.
    b) Develop and supervise accounting procedures, chart of accounts, forms, reports, inventory processes, etc., in accordance with accounting standards and internal control requirements; instruct staff to implement them properly.

    2. Financial and Accounting Management:
    a) Review, approve, and supervise accounting transactions related to automobile sales and repair/maintenance services; manage documentation, accounting books, invoices, and ensure confidentiality of accounting data.
    b) Monitor and manage receivables and payables; control balances of assets and capital; track revenue and expenses to ensure stable cash flow for business operations.
    c) Review, consolidate, prepare, and analyze reports such as Investment Reports (FDI), Financial Statements, Management Reports, etc., on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
    d) Develop internal control systems related to assets, goods, materials, cash, etc.
    e) Coordinate with other departments to control costs and budget limits.

    3. Tax:
    a) Prepare quarterly financial statements; conduct tax declaration, payment, and finalization in compliance with current tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, etc.).
    b) Work with tax authorities, auditors, banks, insurance agencies, and other relevant authorities.

    4. Personnel Management:
    a) Participate in interviewing, training, and evaluating accounting staff.
    b) Build a professional, disciplined, and cooperative working environment.

    5. Bravo System and Accounting Software:
    a) Participate in the implementation and operation of financial and accounting management systems using Bravo software to ensure system consistency and efficiency.

    6. Internal Control and Risk Assessment:
    a) Establish and maintain internal control systems to minimize financial risks.
    b) Conduct inspections, reviews, and evaluations of accounting processes to optimize operational efficiency.
    c) Propose measures to improve accounting procedures and cost management.

    7. Compliance and Reporting:
    a) Ensure accounting activities comply with current accounting regulations and standards.
    b) Report accounting performance periodically or upon request to the COO, Japanese Director, and Suzuki Vietnam.
    c) Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <Must>
    - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Banking, or related fields
    - English: Conversational level or more (Internal conversation, especially with the Japanese General Director)
    - 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in authorized automobile dealerships (Japanese company is the best) or an international company.
    - 3 years of experience of management.
