【Job Summary】The General Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial and accounting operations for a foreign-invested manufacturing company operating in the plastics industry in Vietnam. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end general accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, cost calculation, inventory accounting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders such as auditors, tax authorities, and banks.In this role, the General Accountant will work closely with the Chief Accountant to maintain compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), applicable tax regulations, and internal financial policies. The position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, particularly in areas such as cost of goods manufactured, inventory movements, fixed asset management, and periodic expense allocation. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting modules simultaneously are essential for success.【Job detail】-Manage the general ledger, including monthly accruals, prepaid expense allocation, depreciation, and other adjusting entries to ensure accurate monthly financial results.-Prepare payment documents and execute payment orders accurately and timely via internet banking.-Issue sales invoices and ensure proper recording in the accounting system.-Record purchase invoices, bank transactions, and cash transactions into accounting software.-Monitor and record accounts receivable and accounts payable accurately and on time.-Handle inventory accounting, including raw materials and finished goods receipts and issues.-Reconcile inventory data between purchase documents, warehouse records, and ERP systems.-Record monthly payroll expenses, expense provisions, depreciation, and fixed asset allocations.-Calculate monthly product costs and prepare cost analysis reports.-Prepare sales reports and inventory aging reports on a regular basis.-Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT).-Calculate provisional Corporate Income Tax and arrange tax payments when applicable.-Prepare annual CIT finalization reports and support tax settlement procedures.-Print, review, and properly file accounting vouchers by month.-Prepare quarterly and annual statistical and compliance reports as required.-Coordinate with external auditors and provide audit data and explanations.-Support the Chief Accountant during tax inspections and audits.-Conduct periodic inventory stocktakes and prepare inventory reports.-Perform annual fixed asset verification and ensure proper asset labeling.-Support the Chief Accountant with ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned.-Other tasks.【Attractive points】- You can utilize your skill and knowledge of ISO- You can work with a big responsibility as a manager
