  [Job Summary]
  The Chief Accountant Manager will lead and oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions within the Vietnam entity, ensuring full compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), local tax laws, and applicable group / international reporting requirements (e.g. IFRS if applicable).
  This role is responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing, statutory reporting, internal controls, taxation, budgeting & forecasting, and coordination with external auditors. The position requires strong leadership, excellent technical accounting knowledge, high integrity, and the ability to liaise effectively between local operations and group headquarters.
  This person will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of financial information, supporting management decision-making and contributing to the financial health and compliance of the company.
  
  【Job description】
  - Manage the full monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process: ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) under VAS and any group/international standards in use.
  -Ensure proper accounting of all transactions: revenue, expense, inventory, fixed assets, intercompany, prepayments, accruals, etc.
  -Oversee tax compliance: corporate income tax (CIT), value added tax (VAT), withholding taxes, personal income taxes, etc.; ensure legal deadlines are met; maintain up-to-date with changes in tax law; liaise with tax authorities.
  -Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and group audits; handle audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations.
  -Develop, implement, and maintain internal control systems and accounting policies to safeguard assets and ensure correctness of entries.
  -Supervise and mentor the accounting team: assign tasks, review work, ensure staff development, maintain high performance and accuracy.
  -Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash & bank reconciliations, fixed assets register, inventory accounting, payroll posting (if in scope).
  -Provide financial analysis: budget vs actuals, variance analysis, cost controls, cash flow forecasting, working capital management.
  -Support group finance / headquarters: provide financial data, reports, forecasts, fulfill consolidation or other group reporting requirements.
  -Liaise with other departments (e.g. operations, procurement, HR) to ensure alignment, especially in areas affecting financial reporting (inventory, cost of goods sold, expense recognition, etc.).
  -Continuous improvement: identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness (e.g. systems, automation).
