  【Job Summary】
  We are seeking an experienced Mold Designer (Plastic Injection) to join our engineering team.
  The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing molds used in plastic injection processes for manufacturing precision parts.
  This position is critical in ensuring that mold designs meet product performance, quality, manufacturability, cost, and safety standards.
  
  In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and quality to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for both conceptual and detailed mold design, CAD modeling, technical documentation, and problem-solving throughout the mold lifecycle—from design through production and improvement. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex requirements into robust mold solutions that support our manufacturing operations and quality objectives.
  
  【Responsibilities】
  -Design and develop high-quality plastic injection molds that meet functional, quality, and manufacturability standards.
  -Operate and manage wire-cut EDM and electrical discharge machining (EDM) machines for mold parts fabrication and modification.
  -Perform polishing, finishing, and fitting of mold components to ensure smooth operation and product quality.
  -Create and revise detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mold components and assemblies.
  -Incorporate essential mold features such as cooling channels, ejector systems, parting lines, and gating to ensure reliable and efficient production.
  -Work closely with product designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability (DFM).
  -Participate in design reviews, offering technical guidance to improve product quality and reduce production issues.
  -Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to drive mold fabrication, tooling, and delivery timelines.
  -Optimize mold performance to minimize cycle times, reduce material waste, and improve overall efficiency.
  -Conduct simulations and analyses (e.g., mold flow and cooling analyses) to validate design assumptions.
  -Troubleshoot issues during prototyping and production, implementing corrective actions as required.
  -Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including mold specifications, bills of materials (BOM), manufacturing drawings, and change records.
