  <Job Summary>
  - A major responsibility is developing and expanding the supplier network, with particular emphasis on identifying, evaluating, and onboarding manufacturers and suppliers in China. Because a significant portion of materials, furniture parts, and ready-made consumer goods in our product categories are produced in mainland China, the Purchasing Manager will serve as the company’s primary bridge for Chinese supplier development.
  In addition to procurement leadership, the role includes supporting marketing activities for products sold in the Vietnam market. Working closely with the commercial, sales, and merchandising teams, the Purchasing Manager will gather market data, analyze competitor offerings, and help identify product trends and needs within Vietnam. This marketing-support function includes reviewing product specifications, evaluating localized requirements, coordinating with suppliers on product adjustments, and providing input on pricing strategies based on procurement cost structures and market expectations. The ability to understand consumer preferences, retail dynamics, and distribution trends in Vietnam will be essential to aligning procurement decisions with market demand.

  - Develop and implement comprehensive procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and supply chain needs (particularly for furniture, interior items, raw materials, parts and molds) for Southeast Asia.
  - Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors locally and internationally; manage supplier qualification and ongoing evaluation to assure quality, cost, delivery, and compliance standards are met.
  - Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, contract terms, volume discounts and long-term supply agreements.
  - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (production, quality control, logistics, management) to forecast demand, plan material requirements, and synchronize procurement plans with production schedules.
  - Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes, aiming for cost-efficiency, waste reduction, and supplier performance enhancement.
  - Maintain and manage procurement-related documentation, vendor database, supplier contracts, purchase records, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  - Provide leadership to the procurement team (if applicable): supervise staff, assign responsibilities, evaluate performance, and foster professional development to build a cohesive, high-performing procurement function.
  - Monitor market trends, supply risks, raw-material pricing fluctuations, and geopolitical factors impacting supply chain; propose mitigation strategies and alternative sourcing plans as needed.
