  <Job Summary>
  A major Japanese general trading company is looking for a Chief Accountant.
  Currently, all accounting tasks is outsourced to an accounting firm, but they would like to be able to do accounting work in-house.
  Therefore, they are looking to hire a new staff for this position.
  
  <Job description (details)>
  Accounting and financial management:
  - Payroll, personal income tax, social insurance, and other expenses
  - Management of internal accounting system (MISA)
  - Accounting and control of revenues, expenses, liabilities, etc. (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense related processes and controls)
  - Bookkeeping (daily journal entries, invoices and receipts (including VAT invoices))
  - Financial and tax management and reporting (CIT, PIT, VAT, etc.)
  - Prepare financial documents (monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements, etc.) and audit
  - Preparation and reporting of tax returns and other necessary documents (tax payments, tax refunds, etc.)
  - Cash flow preparation, management, planning, and asset management
  - Preparation for and response to tax audits
  - Audit (both external and internal)
  - Other, including coordination with authorities
  - Bank account management, cash management, remittance handling, foreign exchange management, billing and payment operations, and negotiations with banks
  - Liaison with accounting consulting firms
  - Liaison with consulting firms
  - Financial procedures for internal purchases
  - Improvement of accounting methods and reporting systems
  - Improvement of accounting methods and reporting system
  - Complete the financial management system and establish related processes and forms
  - Advise management on financial and tax management
