Job Description
[Job Summary]
You will assume responsibility as the Factory Manager in a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company based in HCM,
overseeing surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly lines, production processes, and quality management.
Your leadership will ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable operations across multiple production units.
With oversight spanning SMT, PCB/PCBA assembly, inspection, and packaging lines, you'll drive continuous improvements in efficiency, product quality, and team performance.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance teams to meet delivery schedules, cost targets, and high standards of regulatory and customer requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a mid‑sized EMS factory (~100–200 staff) serving domestic and international markets, leveraging ISO‑certified processes in a growth‑oriented environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Lead and oversee day‑to‑day operations of SMT production lines, PCB/PCBA assembly, inspection, functional testing, and final packaging.
- Manage production planning to meet capacity, lead time, and cost targets while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
- Ensure SMT processes (solder paste, pick‑and‑place, reflow) operate under defined parameters and process controls.
- Monitor and enforce quality standards, including defect tracking, root cause analysis, FAI, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification standards
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma) to reduce cycle time, scrap, and downtime.
- Manage health, safety, and environmental compliance in the factory.
- Supervise and develop production supervisors, line leads, and operators.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to ensure timely material availability (components, PCB, SMT supplies).
- Liaise with engineering teams for capacity expansion, new product introduction (NPI), and process validation.
- Maintain production KPIs, performance dashboards, and regular reporting to senior management.
- Drive cost optimization through waste reduction, labor productivity, and efficiencies across processes.

Qualifications
Requirement
[Must]
-More than 5 years experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Proven experience managing SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production lines and PCB/PCBA assembly operations.
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, including solder paste printing, pick-and-place, and reflow soldering.
- Experience in production planning and scheduling to meet delivery deadlines and cost targets.
- More than 3 years management experience
- English: Upper-intermediate level or Japanese: (N2 Intermediate level)
