  - Design and set up machines and tools
  - Develop production steps and conditions for new products
  - Check and improve process quality, cost, delivery, and safety
  - Suggest and carry out ideas to improve productivity (like saving labor, automation, better yield)
  - Find and fix problems in production or equipment
  - Plan and do regular maintenance and servicing
  - Support and guide overseas factories and partners
  - Make technical documents, process details, and reports
