【Job Summary 】Seeking an experienced and highly reliable Accounting Manager to strengthen its finance and accounting function within a manufacturing environment. This position is designed to support the Finance Director/Accounting Director and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with both local and international accounting standards.The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, with a strong focus on cost accounting rather than treasury-oriented finance. This role is positioned at manager or senior supervisor level, acting as a key contributor and deputy to the department head rather than a standalone executive role.This position is well-suited for a professional who is detail-oriented, familiar with IFRS and consolidated reporting, and comfortable working in a multicultural environment using either Japanese or English in daily operations.【Responsiblities】-Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.-Manage and supervise cost accounting processes, including product costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost control.-Review and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.-Ensure proper recording of inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and fixed assets.-Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with local accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).-Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages for headquarters and group reporting purposes.-Support internal and external audits and respond to audit inquiries effectively.-Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.-Act as a key support to the Accounting Director/Finance Director in planning, reporting, and internal financial control matters.-Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial data integrity.-Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making.-Systems & Process Improvement-Utilize accounting systems effectively, including Fast Accounting System (experience with other ERP/accounting systems is also acceptable).-Participate in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.-Other related tasks.【Company/Job Attraction】-Competitive compensation package aligned with leadership role and industry standards.-Career development opportunities within a forward-looking global engineering and manufacturing group.-Travel opportunities and participation in international exhibitions and client engagements.
