<Job Summary>They are seeking a talented Content Director to serve as the strategic heart of their film content selection, distribution, and programming for both their Film Distribution and Cinema Programming Movie Production business units. You will hold strategic responsibility for the company's entire film "content" pipeline: from sourcing and negotiating international film acquisitions, investing in local projects, to planning domestic/international release strategies, and optimizing the film schedule across their own cinema chain to maximize revenue.<Detailes>A. Film Distribution- Hold primary responsibility for the strategy and performance of the Film Distribution division.- Film Acquisition: Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation for the acquisition of international films for distribution in the local market.- Local Project Investment & Development: Proactively source, build relationships (with directors, producers), and manage investments in potential local film projects.- Release Strategy: Plan and execute the overall distribution strategy for all acquired and invested films, including roadmaps for both domestic and international release (where applicable).B. Cinema Programming (Exhibition)- Hold primary responsibility for the strategy and performance of the Programming division for the entire cinema chain.- Overall Slate Management: Directly manage, approve, and optimize the weekly film schedule for the entire cinema network.- Scheduling: Decide on the film selection and showtime allocation for all films currently in the market (including both in-house distributed titles and films from other distributors) to optimize occupancy and revenue.- Analysis & Optimization: Closely monitor and analyze daily box office data for the cinemas to make timely programming adjustments.C. General Management- Project Lifecycle Consultation: Consult on and oversee the operational process of an invested film project, from setup, production, post-production, and marketing through to release and revenue collection.- Partner Management: Negotiate and maintain strategic relationships with other distributors (to secure content for cinemas) and other cinema chains (to secure screens for distributed films).- Marketing Consultation: Act as a senior advisor, providing direction to the marketing team on promotion strategies for individual films and for the cinema chain.- Other tasks assigned by a manager.<Attractive Point>- You can work in a responsible position at a newly established company.- You can utilize your language skills.- This is a group company of the biggest company which is listed in Japan, so the environment is very good.- You can work with a big responsibility to this organization.
