- Design and develop PCB-based control units for forklift systems:• Motor controllers• Power management boards (DC-DC converter, Relay, Microcontroller etc)• Lighting & safety systems• Sensor interface boardsPerform circuit calculation & design:• Current, voltage, power, thermal• Timing, signal integrity, EMI/EMC• Component derating calculation• Thermal calculation for PCB & enclosures- Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools (Altium Designer, Kicad, etc.)- Generate, review, and manage Gerber files, assembly files (Pick & Place), and BOM for manufacturing- Perform DFM/DFT reviews with manufacturing engineers- Validate hardware design through bench testing, lab measurement, and prototype evaluation- Interface with mechanical engineers to ensure optimal PCB integration into forklift structures (vibration, temperature, IP ratings)- Collaborate with software/control teams to ensure interface alignment (CAN, LIN, SPI, analog/digital IO)- Work with PCB manufacturers and EMS partners, release Gerber data and drawings for production- Prepare technical reports, test plans, and design validation documents- Provide technical support during pilot production and mass production.
