Job Description
【Job Summary】
As an EMS Manufacturing Engineering Staff, you will act as a technical bridge between the internal team and subcontractors. Leveraging your expertise in mold technology and injection molding, you will drive quality improvement, cost reduction, and overall project management.
【Main Responsibilities】
-Technical Liaison: Serve as the primary technical contact between internal members and subcontractors.
-Specification Evaluation: Evaluate and coordinate the specifications and structures of finished products and components.
-Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for assembly, structural design, and support utilizing molding and die/mold technologies.
-Process Improvement: Drive production process improvements at subcontractors (jig design/fabrication, selection of key equipment, 5S, and quality initiatives).
-Cost & Schedule Management: Perform cost analysis, negotiate cost reductions, and manage overall project timelines.
-Defect Analysis & Countermeasures: Analyze quality defects during mass production or from the market, identify root causes related to molding conditions/mold structures, and instruct subcontractors on preventive measures.
-Reporting to HQ & Clients: Accurately report technical progress and issues to the Japanese headquarters and clients in Japanese to ensure technical consensus.
-New Model Launch Support: Participate from the prototyping stage to ensure a smooth transition to mass production through technical reviews.
-Documentation: Create and maintain technical standards, operation manuals, and various technical reports.
-Other related tasks.

Qualifications
Requirement
【Must】
-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
-At least 5 years of experience in the processing of molded parts and injection molds.
-Experience in guiding suppliers
-Japanese N2 Level (Intermediate).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
【Prefer】
-Proficiency in CAD software
-Experience in manufacturing drive system products
-Experience in production engineering
-Experience in component design related to machining, sheet metal, or molding
-Knowledge of mold/die design
-Experience in providing technical guidance to subcontractorsEnglish Level
