Taking on a New Challenge: Masaki Miura’s Journey at Reeracoen Vietnam

Starting a career in a completely new country requires courage, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace unfamiliar experiences. For Masaki Miura, joining Reeracoen Vietnam was exactly that — a bold step into a new environment and an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

Through curiosity, teamwork, and persistence, Masaki successfully achieved his six-month sales target, marking an exciting early milestone in his journey with the Vietnam branch.

💼 An International Path to Recruitment

Masaki joined Reeracoen Vietnam in 2025 as a Recruitment Advisor. Before moving to Vietnam, he had already been exposed to international environments. From having an Indonesian uncle to studying in Australia and working in foreign recruitment in Japan, global experiences had always been part of his life.

When he learned about Reeracoen’s international culture, he felt it was the perfect place to apply his background.

“Even though I had never even traveled to Southeast Asia before, I decided to move to Vietnam and take on a fresh challenge,” he shares.

🏆 A Meaningful Early Achievement

Reaching his six-month sales target in a completely new country and working environment was a meaningful moment for Masaki.

“Honestly, I’m really happy to have achieved my first six-month target in such a new environment,” he says. For him, the milestone represents not only business success but also the many new experiences he has gained along the way.

📈 Learning Through Communication

Adapting to a new workplace and industry required continuous learning. Masaki made it a habit to ask questions whenever he encountered something unfamiliar and actively sought guidance from his Japanese colleagues.

At the same time, he focused on building strong communication with local team members to create a comfortable and collaborative working environment. “Everyone was very supportive and kind, which helped me learn quickly and achieve my target,” he shares.

🌟 Overcoming Challenges

Despite achieving his half-year target, Masaki experienced a setback when he missed his goal in the final month of the period. Missing the chance to achieve six consecutive successful months was frustrating, but he chose to focus on the positive — the strong performance he had maintained during the previous five months.

By resetting his mindset and staying confident in his progress, he successfully reached his monthly target again in the following month. This experience taught him the importance of resilience and maintaining a positive perspective.

🎯 Goals for 2026

Looking ahead, Masaki aims to go beyond simply reaching 100% of his targets. Instead, he wants to challenge himself to achieve 150% or even 200% performance with a “Never, Never Give Up” mindset.

Beyond personal achievements, he also hopes to contribute ideas that can help the entire team succeed and strengthen the Vietnam branch.

🌏 Exploring Vietnam Outside of Work

Outside of work, Masaki enjoys relaxing at the sauna once a week and playing baseball on weekends. Recently, he has also been exploring more of Vietnam — trying local food and visiting places he didn’t have time to see during his first months in the country.

Discovering new experiences has become one of the most enjoyable parts of living and working in Vietnam.

Masaki’s journey reflects the spirit of stepping outside your comfort zone and embracing new opportunities. With curiosity, resilience, and teamwork, he continues to grow while contributing to the success of Reeracoen Vietnam.
