1. Sắp xếp kế hoạch sản xuất sao cho có hiệu suất tốt và kế hoạch lưu kho hợp lý2. Dựa vào KHSX của nhà máy để sắp xếp ca làm việc cho công nhân sản xuất3. Quản lý nguyên vật liệu, tồn kho, dự trù và đề xuất nguyên vật liệu4. Quản lý giá thành, trách nhiệm lợi nhuận5. Phối hợp với tổ trưởng các bộ phận để quản lý nhân lực và thời gian làm việc. Bố trí nhân lực, điều chỉnh thời gian tăng ca một cách thích hợp trong thời gian làm việc, thời gian xảy ra sự cố.6. Đào tạo, đánh giá năng lực của công nhân để bố trí vị trí làm việc phù hợp.7. Cải tiến quy trình sản xuất sao cho tiết kiệm nhân sự, tiết kiệm sức lao động, năng lượng và đề án đầu tư thiết bị.8. Nắm được mục tiêu của nhà máy (Action plan) và định hướng để đạt được mục tiêu đã đề ra9. Quản lý công việc của cấp dưới bằng chỉ đạo, chỉ thị làm cho xưởng hoạt động nhịp nhàng10. Triệt để quản lý an toàn (tai nạn lao động); quản lý vệ sinh trước và sau khi sản xuất (phòng chống nhiễm khuẩn, dị vật). Quản lý 5S trong toàn bộ nhà xưởng11. Nắm rõ nguyên tắc hoạt động của máy móc, thiết bị trong toàn bộ nhà xưởng. Tuần tra, ghi nhận toàn bộ thông tin liên quan đến máy móc, thiết bị trong nhà xưởng (bảo trì, sửa chữa, vệ sinh) để đảm bảo máy móc hoạt động tốt, duy trì các hoạt động sản xuất một cách liên tục. Phối hợp với bộ phận bảo trì để sắp xếp, theo dõi, xác nhận kế hoạch sửa chữa, bảo trì máy móc, các cải tiến12. Nắm vững chất lượng bán thành phẩm tại tất cả các công đoạn sản xuất, báo cáo khi có bất thường13. Tuần tra, giám sát quy trình thao tác, quy trình vệ sinh của công nhân, hạn chế các sai lỗi trong quá trình sản xuất. 14. Giám sát việc sử dụng các nguyên vật liệu, sắp xếp các kho nguyên liệu, thành phẩm; tình trạng phế phẩm, phế liệu trong nhà máy. Tiến hành điều tra nguyên nhân và báo cáo khi có bất thường15. Nắm vững phương pháp tái chế đối với các sản phẩm không phù hợp Kiểm tra các báo cáo liên quan: báo cáo sản xuất hằng ngày, báo cáo phế phẩm, báo cáo quản lý máy móc và vệ sinh tại khu vực, báo cáo sự cố khi xảy ra sự không phù hợp.16.
