    Purpose of Job:
    - To manage systems and personnel in the Conversion Section, in order to meet goals and objectives.

    Dimensions of Job:
    o To manage a department of 150 personnel (25 - 30 personnel on various shifts).
    o To manage the Conversion section on various shifts.
    o The job will require working an 07:45am to 16:30pm weekdays
    o You will also be requested to work on the Management weekend rota.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    1. To ensure that all personnel within the department adhere to the Work Procedures and Instructions, and that these are updated as necessary.
    2. To ensure that quality standards are maintained.
    3. To ensure that departmental targets are met, implementing any changes necessary to achieve the required standard.
    4. Monitor and control operating costs within your department.
    5. Provide Production Manager with weekly and monthly reports that highlight:
    -All customer complaints
    -Departmental scrap
    -Personnel issues
    -Production performance
    6. Ensure the Production Manager is kept informed on all key issues.
    7. To manage the personnel within the department with respect to:
    -appraisals
    -personal productivity
    -absence control
    -discipline
    -recruitment
    -developing the appropriate skills to achieve production objectives.
    8. To ensure the accuracy of all data recorded on Conversion data base.
    9. To keep up to date with technical and process developments throughout the company.
    10. Ensure that all machinery and the department facilities are kept in excellent condition.
    11. Ensure the maintenance schedule is adhered to and the stock of spare parts controlled.
    12. Work closely with technician in the Fuji Group to develop a Film Department strategy
    13. To provide a safe system of work for all Conversion Section personnel, and ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
    14. To protect and enhance the goodwill of the Company and its reputation for good trading and ethical conduct.

    - University graduated, major: Mechanical or Technical
    - Experience: 2-3 years experience in at the same position (Production Manager)
    - Ability to communicate in English (Intermediate or higher)
