  • Job Description

    PURPOSE:
    - Analyze business requirements and existing IT system constraints.
    - Develop, secure and optimize software/application/solution/enhancement for businesses and operations to meet business requirement.

    CONTEXT:
    All operations and processes in MSIG VN

    DIMENSIONS:

    KEY OUTPUTS:
    1- Software Developer:
    - Collect, analyze and transform user requirements into detailed specifications.
    - Collaborate with teammates to set specifications for new applications/enhancements.
    - Develop applications or enhancements, either locally or with vendors within deadlines.
    - Perform unit, integration, functional and non-functional tests.
    - Work with user to execute user-acceptance tests.
    - Troubleshoot and debug applications.
    - Compose technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
    - Compose release documents/user manuals/guides for end users effectively.
    - Guide the development team to secure and optimize their work.
    - Ensure quality of developed applications and services.
    - Timely/periodically report all information to higher managers

    2- Others
    - As per assigned by superiors and other office work as required by the Company.

    RELATIONSHIPS:
    - Users, Partners and Teammates

    DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
    - To act within delegated authority given by IT Deputy Manager.

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
    - Quality, effectiveness and timeliness of applications and/or enhancements

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    - BSc/BA in software engineering or relevant field;
    - Certificates in software development is a plus.

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
    - Technical Skills:
    - Object-oriented programming (C# is preferred).
    - PL/SQL and/or SQL.
    - Front-end development is a plus (Javascript, CSS, HTML5).

    EXPERIENCE
    - At least 2 years as software developer or 1 year as senior software developer is required For Senior Executive Software Developer Position
    - 1-2 years experience in software development for Executive Software Developer Position
