• Job Description

  PURPOSE:  Assist direct manager in underwriting and product development of miscellaneous lines and banca business to help achieve the planned objectives of UW Division and Company.
  
  CONTEXT:  Miscellaneous classes of insurance (motor, PA, healthcare, etc) and Banca business in Vietnam.
  
  KEY OUTPUTS:
  - Work closely with Marketing Divisions to understand the problems, needs to be solved and define product requirements to meet customer needs and in line with Company’s underwriting strategy.
  - Work with other related Divisions to provide support in product development project to meet targets and timeline.
  - Manage and maintain underwriting manual and daily control in respect of assigned classes of businesses.
  - Participate in the development and maintenance of business cases, competitive analysis, launch plans, pricing and other product development guidelines.
  - Maintain good market network to collect updated information about product trends, competitors and local market.
  - Work closely with other underwriting colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure prudent review and control of product underwriting performance result.
  - Prepare adequate product documents for submission/reporting to authority (if any).
  - Assist with product presentations and training.
  - Other duties as assigned.
