Job Description
To be in charge of financial & accounting service including VAS and IFRS: Cash Management, Internal Control, Tax and entity reporting, Managerial accounting (e.g: General ledger, Fixed assets, Intercompany transaction, Group Package).
Manage and control the day-to-day activities in Finance & Accounting Division.
Review and verify General Ledger recognition is accurate and timely.
Ensure that all financial transactions are genuine, correctly calculation.
Ensure cash float balance is checked and compared with cash book monthly
Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries. Follow up detail of inter-co transactions (including payment on behalf, sales transaction, purchased transaction, dividend).
Guiding and provide decision made to daily financial accounting entries.
Review all relevant tax reports (including tax declarations and tax issue resolutions such as VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT etc…) and ensure tax payment is under deadline
Dealing and working with Internal & External Auditor for annual audit & local tax authorities.
Preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly reports to BOD (related financial statement include: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and cost analysis report),
Prepare yearly budget, reviews cost accounting and analyzes actual vs budget variance.
Review on P&L and Balance Sheet in monthly to identify potential risk and propose risk management solution.
Review Company cost and analyses base on main cost factors.
Guideline the necessary documents to comply with the policies and procedure.
Building inventory stock count procedure and plan for inventory stock take as annual.
Maintaining & developing the accounting procedures, make sure that the company’s procedures are consistent with Group’s current policies.
Training to employees in team and on raising awareness and knowledge of finance and accounting matters.
Assist General Director in the financial management (manage company costs)
Qualifications
Requirement
Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance and Audit. Chief Accountant Certificate is compulsory.
Have experience in VAS and IFRS as well.
Well-verse in law, decree, circulars relating to PIT/FCT/VAT/CIT/Import & Export Tax, Foreign Exchange transaction. Experience in final settlement with Tax department.
At least 10 years of working experience including at least 5 years in Chief Accountant positions in foreign owned company, preferably in the manufacturing; or consumable durable industry with large network distribution.
Planning and organization skills, analyzing skill, results-oriented.
Interpersonal and conflict management skills;
A transparent person with high Integrity and ethical values;
Can speak Japanese is plus.
Fluency in English.English Level
